A Tree Guild

Before and After

2 years ago we planted a plum tree in this empty spot in our garden.Then we added 2 rosemary plants and a lavender to the edges, a  rasberry in the middle,  and scattered some calendula seeds around. Although it’s not seen on the photos there’s a tall magnolia tree on top of the guild, which provides protection to our young fruit trees and lots of valuable leaf mulch . A honeysuckle vine is climbing over the magnolia tree attracts pollinators and smells great!
