Dandelion Coffee
For a long time I had in mind to make dandelion coffee. It grows abundantly in the garden, has many health benefits and it’s much more sustainable than regular coffee because YOU can make it!
It really tastes like coffee, but without the density. It doesn’t have caffeine, yet it cleans and vitalizes the body.
Here’s how it’s made:
For 2 small cups gather 10-15 dandelion roots and wash them well.
Chop them up in small pieces
Roast them in a pan or oven until they’re brown. They smell so good while roasting!
Then boil them with 2 small cups of water for about 5-10 minutes.
Strain and drink!
