So I made an improvised low tunnel to protect them. There were some willow branches that I collected as well as some very flexible fig suckers lying around in the garden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I just buried one leg of the branch in the soil and bended it carefully so it didn&#8217;t snap. Then I buried the other leg. That&#8217;s it! I didn&#8217;t connect them on top because it was such a sudden idea!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I covered it with 2 layers of plastic and put some bricks and stones to weigh it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s been over 2 months since I made it and it works fine.
