Recycling Plastic Cups <\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A wonderful way to recycle plastic cups is to grow plants in them.They are the perfect size for sowing seeds and growing cuttings for. Just make sure to pierce a couple of holes on the bottom of the cup for water drainage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I usually take cuttings in late summer or early spring.I fill the cups with loose soil (either compost or peat) ,place my cuttings in it and close the lid. The hole in the lid allows for air to come in as well as creating humidity around the plant to encourage root growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the photos you can see sage,lavender and rosemary cuttings I took in late August. Now that is almost end of November, they\u2019re all rooted healthy growing plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
